Four projects across very different domains:
Built the backend of the Tour de France "Teams Radio" application from scratch: live rider–car audio split into channels, Google Speech-to-Text, multi-language translation and per-team clip creation with NDI streaming — near real-time, used during the live race.
Smart-city data platform for Flanders: ingested REST and real-time Kafka datasets into TimescaleDB time-series storage and exposed GeoJSON-compatible APIs feeding a "SmartMap" frontend.
Backend for an industrial light-line configurator generating BOMs, with millimeter-precision collision detection and complex compatibility rules between components.
Sole developer on an ASP.NET Core MVC application — bug fixing, new features, and integrating a legacy VB time-registration system.
Off the clock you'll find me on a padel court, in the gym, behind a camera, or on a snowboard. I have a long scouting background — including two years leading a group of around 300 members, where I learned to lead and organize.
I also tutor students aged 12 to 21 in math, English, Dutch, .NET and SQL.
